Rami is the research manager at CorCom, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based market research and consulting firm, where he oversees up to 20 concurrent projects from beginning to end and manages the accounts for the majority of CorCom’s 100+ clients in industries including healthcare, natural gas production, arts and entertainment and nonprofit organizations.
In his four years with CorCom, Inc., Rami has completed over 50,000 interviews and 300 in-depth research and consulting projects—helping CorCom, Inc. to experience its highest sales volume this year since the firm was founded in 2000. He has developed new reporting dashboards, improved the participant recruiting process and streamlined research and data analysis methods, resulting in CorCom’s clients reporting measurable growth as a result of working with the firm. Rami trains and supervises a team of four full-time and ten part-time employees, the largest staff that CorCom has employed to-date.
Outside of CorCom, Inc., Rami is a youth soccer coach. After having played Division I soccer at the University of Pittsburgh and serving as business manager for the Pitt Men’s Club Team, Rami turned his focus to coaching and is a senior staff member of Arsenal FC of Pittsburgh, one of the premier youth soccer clubs in Western Pennsylvania. Rami earned his national “D” license from the United States Soccer Federation in 2013 and currently coaches two boys youth teams, assists with Arsenal FC’s Juniors program and works numerous soccer camps during the year.
Rami also co-founded R.A.R.E. Nation [Revitalizing Art; Reinventing Emotion], a Pittsburgh-based music and art entertainment company. As a leading member of R.A.R.E. Nation, Rami was responsible for being the face of the company and a brand ambassador everywhere he goes, including appearing on the cover of the Pittsburgh City Paper’s January 2014 issue. He managed R.A.R.E.’s lead artist, Palermo Stone and guided the management and promotion of the company’s numerous other talented artists. Additionally, Rami worked with the other lead members to form the strategic plan, brand positioning, and other opportunities for expanding the new company. Rami also developed the company’s website (http://www.rarenation.com) and is the author of the company’s first official book, “RARE: A Visual Experience.”
A lifelong hip hop music fan, Rami is a freelance writer who reviews albums, interviews artists, writes hip hop editorial pieces and examines the general hip hop music climate in Pittsburgh and around the world. His pieces have appeared in numerous online and print publications.
Rami holds a B.A. in Communications & Rhetoric and a certificate in Global Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. In his spare time, Rami enjoys playing soccer, traveling, playing pool and bowling.
